This range builds a reading area by enclosing it. The ring bookshelf leaves the centre open, and the upholstered seating sits on the ring itself, so a room can be organised into a defined zone with the middle left free. Typical settings are library reading rooms, kindergarten picture-book libraries, school reading corners, training centres and community reading rooms.
Five sets are published: two straight 200 cm runs, a 160 cm single and double-tier shelving set, a 120 cm set, and a stepped 180 cm set. The stepped variant is the one to specify where many children use the space, because the seating is tiered rather than at a single height.
Specification is particleboard to Chinese national standard E0 grade for the shelving and PU leather with foam for the upholstery. The numbers in the set names are read from each set's own dimensioned drawing rather than interpreted on this page — send us your room size and whether you want a full ring or a half ring, and we will send the drawing for the set that fits. The range runs on its five published sets. Requests to change diameter, height or form go to the factory for assessment and are not confirmed on the spot. Installation is not included, and freight is included with delivery to the building entrance or loading area.
